You see Tipi’s in TV and in the media more and more often now, and yet how many people have actually tried living in one, setting the smoke flaps, carrying firewood, lighting a fire, cooking on an open fire or just watching the patterns in the flames as you relax, its so much more than just somewhere to sleep!
All Cledan valley tipi's have;
Many of our Tipi’s are now fitted with Ozan’s, this was a Native American invention to keep most of the rain from the living space in the Tipi, while still letting the fire smoke escape
Coir mat flooring over a gravel base
A wood burning fire bowl or fire pit (with some firewood included) vital to the tipi experience
A two burner gas “camping cooker”
A tipi info pack with tips, places to go and emergency phone numbers
Plates mugs bowls and cutlery (and a washing up bowl) pots and pans
Cool box (freezer packs delivered every morning, on request)
Futon beds
